Being the second prospect to commit to Clemson in the 2012 recruiting class Shaq Lawson has been on board for over 3 months now. The 6'4 240 pound defensive end is doing his very best to make sure that other top prospects strongly consider joining him at the ACC school.
Lawson says he's been working hard to try and improve his stock heading into his senior season. He's also been working as a recruiter for the Tigers who had a huge recruiting week last week.
Asked about Clemson's landing commits from in-state prospects Ronald Geohaghan and Cordrea Tankersley, and then from Travis Blanks out of Florida in three consecutive days Lawson replied, "Yeah I was at the Shrine Bowl combine with Geohaghan and Tankersley."
With Geohaghan and Tankersley on board Lawson says he's been working another pair of in-state prospects pretty hard to join the class the Tigers are putting together for 2012.
Lawson says he may attend the MVP Camp at Lower Richland High School in a couple of weeks but will definitely continue to put in work to prepare for a big senior season and as a strong recruiter for the Tigers with other top prospects.
SCPrepNation.com will have junior season highlights soon of Lawson in action so stay tuned!
