2012 linebacker Rivers Bedenbaugh informed SCPrepNation.com that he's transferring to Lexington High School.

The 6'2.5" 230 pound prospect should see more eyes this coming season with the change as many college coaches and football fans will be eager to see his new Lexington teammate Shaq Roland in action.

Bedenbaugh says he'll miss his Batesburg-Leesville teammates and coaching staff but a family move now has him enrolled at Lexington. The 2012 standout had told us in a prior interview that Roland was the toughest player he faced last season and now he'll be lining up and playing with him.

"I have been hearing from Tennessee and Georgia. Appalachian State talks to me a lot along with some other FCS schools."

A number of ACC and SEC schools have also been keeping close tabs on the talented linebacker who also is being recruited as a fullback by some schools.
