Quietly 2012 Green Sea Floyds High shooting guard Larry Wideman has picked up some steam on the AAU circuit with his Team TMP squad. So much that in fact he's gone from zero offers to five offers in a matter of months. Wideman gave SCPrepNation.com wind of his latest two offers on Thursday morning.
"I got offered by Gardner-Webb yesterday."
"Gardner Webb said they like the way that I play and really like the way I shoot the ball."
His AAU coach gave him news of his second offer in as many days too.
"Furman just offered me my AAU coach said."
The offers join previous offers from High Point, Western Carolina, and Wofford.
"I feel like I'm playing very well and that my hours in the gym are paying off. I'm just glad that the schools believe in me and my talent to offer me a scholarship."
Wideman's 4.36 GPA is also a strong suit the 2012 prospect holds as he'll qualify easily. Expect more good news to continue to roll in for Wideman as he and his Team TMP squad continue to play well on the AAU circuit.
