A quick update with 2012 Boiling Springs DT/FB Brendon Miller as he visited South Carolina State earlier this week. At 6'0 255 pounds and bench pressing 400+ pounds and squatting 625 pounds, Miller is a man child that should give opposing teams nightmares. Inside see what Miller had to say about the Bulldogs from the MEAC after his visit in this FREE premium update.

Brendon Miller Profile

Wednesday afternoon saw 2012 Boiling Springs High DT/FB Brendon Miller hit the road to check out one of the schools showing him early interest. A few hours later after riding down I-26 Miller arrived for his visit.

"I went to visit South Carolina State yesterday. It went pretty good. I liked it a lot."

Miller said he was accompanied by his father and teammate Shaquan Burney.

What did Miller enjoy most about his trip to Orangeburg?

"I liked the campus and the stadium. The dorms were also nice. It seems like a really good place."

Miller said the coaching staff said they really liked him, told him to continue to lift weights, and that they could envision him being a Bulldog one day.

"They are looking at me as a fullback and defensive tackle or defensive end. They said that they really want me but they told me that they don't offer early. More than likely they will offer me."

South Carolina State won't be the only school Miller visits before heading back to start his senior season in less than a month's time.

"I'm going to Tennessee the 18th of this month and Newberry is supposed to come see me. I'm going to see all these schools because they have have asked me personally to come."

At 6'0 255 pounds Miller plays a good deal at defensive tackle for Boiling Springs but we envision him as a fullback on the next level.

Recently Miller told us the coaching staff told him he'd see a lot more time in the offensive backfield carrying the ball and blocking which bodes as an opportunity to showcase his strength and skill set even more.

Miller is a beast in the weight room with a 405 pound bench press and 625 pound squat and he will punish opposing teams with his blend of size, strength, and speed coming out of the backfield. Expect highlight reel material early on as Miller says he'll relish the chance to run over opponents and pancake would be tacklers.
