"I've camped with both Clemson and South Carolina already. I like the coaching staff at Clemson and the environment is great. I love the Carolina coaching staff too. When I arrived for camp that morning I was like this is my home."
Riley says he in fact will be camping with the Gamecocks again later this week on the 21st.
Last season he amassed 21 catches for 375 yards for Allendale. One look at his film and you can see the potential this youngster has as he's also a strong blocker for his age and size.
Looking ahead to his junior season Riley had a lot of goals he's set for himself and his squad.
"My goals are to make big plays that's gonna help my team to get to State. Doing that so we can get a chance to see what being state champions feels like."
Seeing former Allendale stars Bashaud Breeland (Clemson and Jerrell Priester (Kentucky) make it to big time programs and current teammate Ronald Geohaghan already committed to Clemson has been an eye opening experience for Riley. He says the trio provides plenty of motivation for him to be next in line.
"Yes I see that as motivation because they always told me you have the size to play college ball. When I heard the same thing from all three of them that's when I realized that more hard work will get me there too."
A pair of games on the schedule have already been circled for Riley and he told us why.
"Bamberg because we lost a good battle last year and Ridgeland because we waited late to play. We ended up losing a game that should've been won."
