With good size, vision, speed, and power Carolina Forest running back Harold Atkinson has emerged as one of the state's top prospects in the 2013 class. One Big Ten program, Minnesota, has already verbally offered him a scholarship and other schools have stepped up their efforts early in his junior season to show significant interest.

Carolina Forest assistant Will Bratcher gave us the rundown of the latest schools to start the chase for Atkinson.

"Oregon, Notre Dame, Alabama, Mississippi State, and Auburn are listing him as a top recruit in the country for 2013 early on," Bratcher told SCPrepNation.com.
