So far 2012 Hanahan wide receiver Patrick Alston has yet to hear from any colleges. He's hoping that his play early on this season will change that with teammate Chris Brown currently out with a broken collarbone.
Alston has made 20 receptions for 415 yards and scored 2 touchdowns during the first four games of the season. He's hoping to continue his success in hopes of landing interest soon and taking some visits.
The 6'0 175 pound Alston got out of the gate early and he talked about it with us.
"Our first game of the season in Week 0 against Hartsville was my best game so far this year. We were down the entire game but I'm proud of myself for never giving up and continuing to play. I ended the night with 7 catches for 167 yards."
Right now Alston says his ability to break tackles, his route running, and ability to catch the football are his biggest strengths. He says he continues to work on being a better blocker to help round out his game.
"Right now education, coaching staff, style of play, location, and a chance at early playing time would be the things I will consider the most when looking at schools."
