The Greenwood Eagles are picking up steam as they hope to return to the AAAA Division II championship game after making it there and losing to Northwestern last season. The Eagles are still incorporating their smashmouth wing-T offense but are starting to realize the weapon they have in 6'4 195 pound wide receiver Spearman Robinson.
Last night the Eagles pitched a shutout 45-0 against Westside. The senior wideout had another big game despite limited targets out of the wing-T.
"I had another big game last night. I had 4 catches for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns," Robinson told SCPrepNation.com Saturday morning.
The 2012 prospect will be taking an official visit next month to a Big Ten school.
"Yeah they (Illinois) called down a couple of weeks ago and wanted to set up a visit for me."
Stay tuned as we'll have more updates with Robinson as he continues to play well during his senior season.
