WR Chris Brown making up for lost time

Having sat out most of the regular season after suffering a broken collarbone 2012 Hanahan wide receiver Chris Brown could've been passive in his return. Especially after committing to Notre Dame. That's just not Brown's persona though. He's come back fresh and explosive but also helped his team win a playoff game last night. Come inside to learn of his latest performance.

Chris Brown Profile

To say Chris Brown is "making up for lost time" would be an understatement. Brown suffered a broken collarbone to start the season and didn't get back on the field until 3 games ago. His stats and performances have been astronomical especially with Hanahan playing in the second round of the AA playoffs last night and he delivered in a big way once again.

"We won 42-18 against Lake City last night. I had 9 catches for 145 yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. I also had another touchdown on a punt return."

The past 3 games have seen Brown go out and display the speed and athleticism that made him an instant hit with many college coaches once we created and released his junior season highlight tape.

"I've got 11 touchdowns in the last 3 games, and 13 overall now in 4 games back."

Asked if he was making up for lost time after suffering the broken collarbone Brown responded with a big laugh and said, "Yeah you know that!"

Brown says he will take this weekend to rest and relax. Hanahan's next opponent will be Timberland who defeated Hanahan 56-14 earlier in the year when Brown was injured.
