Spencer Collins Ends HS Career With 44

2012 Easley shooting guard Spencer Collins ended his high school career with the Easley Green Wave falling in the AAAA playoffs to Gaffney 81-77. Collins put forth one of the most spirited efforts of his career pouring in a game-high 44 points.

Rated one of the state's top 2012 prospects Easley shooting guard Spencer Collins guided a furious comeback against Gaffney Saturday night only to come up short 81-77.

The 6'4 guard poured in 44 points in the loss capping a tremendous career in which he's starred for the Green Wave since his freshman season. Gaffney was lead by North Carolina football signee Quinshad Davis who scored 26 points. Sophomore sensation L.J. Peak added 22 points for the Indians in the victory. The Gaffney win will allow them to host Irmo which features Clemson signee Jordan Roper on Tuesday.
