We knew it was only a matter of time before more schools starting picking up their interest in 2013 running back Demetrius Odom of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School. After picking up four early offers on the recruiting process during the past month and change he landed his first offer from a power conference on Friday.
"Wake Forest offered Demetrius on Friday," Bamberg-Ehrhardt assistant coach Corey Crosby told us.
Crosby also told us that Odom ran a 4.54 second 40 yard dash at a combine over the weekend. Add that he's 6'1 195 pounds and it's easy to see why we see his recruitment taking off in a hurry once his film continues to make the rounds and he continues to show well on the camp and combine circuit this off season.
