Tuesday saw 2014 offensive tackle prospect Christian Taylor make the short ride to Columbia from White Knoll High School to visit with South Carolina. The 6'4 330 pound prospect talked with SCPrepNation.com about his trip in depth.
"I got a chance to see the practice fields and view the plans for the indoor facilities that are being built," Taylor told us.
The 2014 prospect says the majority of his time was spent with a pair of Gamecock coaches.
"I talked primarily to Brad Lawing and Shawn Elliot."
So what did the Gamecock coaches have to say to Taylor while there?
"They said they heard there was a beast at White Knoll. They were glad to meet me and plan on seeing me more. They also invited me to their Spring Game."
Taylor also told us that Lawing and Elliot said they would be out to see more of him in May during spring practices at White Knoll.
So what was his favorite part of the visit with the Gamecocks?
"Just being able to talk with the players and being around a great coaching staff."
