Fresh off a visit to South Carolina early last week 2014 offensive tackle Christian Taylor of White Knoll High School made the ride up to Clemson for a visit on Saturday. At 6'4 330 pounds and an impressive sophomore highlight reel Taylor is starting to pique interest from a number of programs from across the country. He talked with SCPrepNation.com about his trip to Death Valley in-depth and also let us know what other schools he would like to see in the near future as well.
Taylor reported a strong visit with South Carolina last week and apparently the visit to Clemson went over extremely well too. He talked about what aspects he was able to see during his time in Death Valley.
"I was able to see the locker rooms and Vickery Hall. I went to the weightroom and team meeting room."
"Coach Robbie Caldwell is my recruiter."
The Tigers had plenty to say to Taylor and apparently liked what they've seen in him thus far.
"They said they really like me and plan on me in orange in two years."
With his time in Clemson Taylor says he was able to strengthen an already strong foundation regarding his relationship with Caldwell.
"Yeah we had a connection before but he likes me and says he is really interested in me. I respect him a lot so our relationship is good."
One part of his trip really stood out for him though and he shared it with us.
"My favorite part was being on the field while the team was warming up."
Asked to rate his trip to TigerTown on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best Taylor said,"I would rate it an 8 or 8 and a 1/2."
So having visited the two in-state powers where does Taylor turn his attention to next?
