LB Kennan Gilchrist Lands 4th Offer

One of the state's most underrated prospects, 2013 LB Kennan Gilchrist, picked up another offer this week and inside he talks with SCPrepNation.com about that offer and more inside. This weekend he'll camp with an SEC school hoping to impress them enough to possibly land another offer to his haul.

Kennan Gilchrist Profile

We've been high on 2013 Abbeville linebacker Kennan Gilchrist for quite some time. The word is starting to get out about the 6'3 200 pound prospect because he's systematically started to pick up steam over the past few months. Earlier this week he landed another offer giving him four total.

"I just got offered by Wofford," Gilchrist told us on Wednesday.

The offer from the Terriers joins previous offers from Air Force, Appalachian State, and Furman.

Georgia Tech gave Gilchrist a call on Wednesday too and made it be known that they are very interested in recruiting him as well.

The Abbeville standout has helped the Panthers win back to back 1A state championships and has put in the work making the transition from defensive end to linebacker. College coaches love his playmaking ability and nose for the ball but many want to see if he can make the position change smoothly. In fact, he'll be trying to show that he can this coming weekend he says.

"I'm going to Kentucky on Sunday for camp. If I perform well I think they might offer me."

Stay tuned to SCPrepNation.com as we'll keep you updated with Gilchrist's recruitment moving forward.
