2014 RB Andre Stoddard Visits Notre Dame

At 5'10 217 pounds running back Andre Stoddard of St. Joseph's High School is one of the state's top 2014 prospects. Last year he piled up huge numbers and some of the country's top schools are showing him early interest. Stoddard took a trip to South Bend, Indiana recently to visit Notre Dame and their staff. As one of the state's most prolific rushers last season St. Joseph's running back Andre Stoddard has seen his recruitment pick up in recent months. In fact, Stoddard made the journey up to South Bend, Indiana to visit Notre Dame. He sat down with SCPrepNation.com to talk about his trip to see what the Fighting Irish had to offer.

"Notre Dame was great," Stoddard said emphatically.

During his time there he met with the Notre Dame coaches and says they were impressed with him seeing him in person.

"I met with head coach Brian Kelly and the offensive coordinator Chuck Martin and they were really impressed with me. They said that I looked just as explosive, fast, and strong as I did on film and that we would definitely keep in touch."

The St. Joseph's prospect also got a chance to check out the storied school's campus while there.

"I saw the whole campus and it was amazing."

More schools have started to recruit the 5'10 217 pound back with great size and speed. He recalled the ones that have been in contact with him the most lately.

"The colleges that are showing me interest are Notre Dame, Arkansas, Clemson, Nevada, South Carolina, Georgia, Georgia Tech and a number of D2 schools as well."
