One of the state's brightest 2015 prospects Pelion wide receiver Freddie Phillips says he's been working hard with his teammates to prepare for the upcoming season. In the midst of preparations schools have continued to show the rising sophomore plenty of interest early on. In fact, a pair of schools have joined the mix as of late for Phillips he informed us.
"Things have been going good for me. I did really good in our scrimmages last week and looking forward to doing the same in our jamboree today."
"Practice has been going great, we've been working really hard."
One ACC school and one SEC school are the latest schools to show their interest in Phillips.
The 6'2 175 pound prospect plays both wide receiver and cornerback for Pelion. He would prefer to play at wide receiver but he says as long as he gets a chance to play college level football he'll play wherever coaches want him. Stay tuned as Phillips is continuing to emerge as one of 2015's top prospects here in South Carolina.
