2013 Intro: Wando QB Christian Hart

It's hard to argue with an undefeated season this time of year and that's exactly where the Wando Warriors are right now. First year starter Christian Hart has been playing lights out at quarterback and the 2013 prospect has already heard from one in-state school and he's hoping to hear from mor schools before season's end to land some offers.

We take a look at one of the biggest surprises so far this season in the 2013 class in Wando quarterback Christian Hart. The 6'4 165 pound prospect was a first year starter this year and the results so far have been outstanding for the Warriors.

With their record 6-0 so far Hart and the Warriors have been very impressive thus far. Their latest victory coming on Friday over a game Fort Dorchester squad 32-28.

"My best game ever was against Beaufort High School. I was 16 for 24 for 295 yards and two touchdowns. It was so memorable because it was my first home game as a starter."

Through the first 5 games of the season Hart was 80 for 127 for 1,200 yards and 9 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

His play has sparked the interest of Newberry College Hart says. In fact, Hart visited with Newberry over the weekend after this interview was conducted.

Talking about his best traits on the field Hart has this to say.

"My strengths would have to be leadership, accuracy, and the ability to read a defense."

Hart is focused on leading his team to a state championship he says. He made it very clear what he expects of himself on a personal level each time he steps on the field too.

"Just to be at my best in every game I play."

Asked who is the toughest player he's ever faced Hart quickly replied that it was a former teammate who's now playing in the SEC.

"I haven't really played many games so probably Gimel President in practice because he is just really big and really fast."

Hart told us that a good coaching staff, getting a good education, and a cool environment will be crucial to his college decision. He's hoping to major in physical therapy or sports science.

He reports a 3.1 GPA and a 1020 score on the SAT.
