Woodmont picked up their first victory of the season last night but their effort level has been high all season long. 2013 wide receiver Levon Lane Atkins is one of their top prospects and he's piled up some very good numbers this season. So good that he's landed three scholarship offers in the past few weeks.
Atkins holds offers now from Carson-Newman, South Dakota, and William & Mary currently. Other schools remain in the mix and don't be surprised to see him pick up more offers as his film starts to circulate.
SCPrepNation.com projects Atkins as a slot receiver that can also double as a return specialist due to his speed and agility. Although he's not the biggest wideout he possesses a similar game to South Carolina's Ace Sanders being so versatile and hard to get a hand on.
We'll have Atkins' early senior season highlights this coming week so you can see exactly why schools are scrambling to get in with the Woodmont prospect now.
