With offers from major programs in the SEC and ACC, Davon Durant is looking to narrow down his options and take his official visits before signing day.

While Durant has recently been recruited by Clemson, Georgia, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt, he holds offers from five.

"I have offers from Tennessee, NC State, Vandy, South Carolina and Clemson," Durant said. "I'm not really [holding out] for any other offers, but I'd like to hear from Florida State."

Durant plans to keep his college football options open until National Signing Day, when he will make his announcement.

What is Durant looking for in his future team?

"Just the people around," Durant answered. "I'll look at my relationship with the coaches and how well the team gets along. Obviously if it's a good program, that won't be an issue. I'll also look into the academic programs."

With his home base at Greenwood High School (SC), Durant says that his relationship with his future coaching staff is the most important factor in his decision to move away.

"It'll be the school and the football team that sells me," Durant explained, "but especially how the coaches get along with the players. If I'm going away from home, my relationship with the coaching staff is the most important."

While he hopes to schedule more than one official visit, the only one on Durant's calendar is to South Carolina on January 25th.
