One thing is for certain, 2014 offensive lineman Christian Taylor of White Knoll High School is one of the state's biggest, smartest, and most traveled prospects. The 6'5 330 pound prospect sat down with SCPrepNation.com to talk about the very latest regarding his recruitment and his travels.
The 2014 prospect has been one of the most traveled prospects we've seen in quite some time logging a ton of miles to visit with various schools who are actively recruiting him.
His latest stop saw him make another trip to a familiar campus. He also talked about some other schools he'll be seeing in the coming weeks.
Those schools aren't the only ones who have been contacting Taylor as of late. He's been in contact with a couple of new schools as well as some of the ones who've been recruiting him for quite some time already.
"I've started talking to Notre Dame too. I've also been talking to Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Duke a lot lately. I seem to talk to the same 15 schools a lot then the other 20 once every now and then it seems. Vanderbilt started recruiting me last month when they came by the school to see me."
With offers from North Carolina State and Coastal Carolina already Taylor is hoping that he can secure some more offers during camp visits this off season leading up to his senior year. A handful of schools have intensified their recruiting efforts with Taylor and he's hoping they may the next to step up with offers.
The White Knoll prospect suffered an injury late in the season and he's rehabbing from the setback. He shared with us how things are going currently.
"I broke my fifth metatarcil in my foot. I'm healing up. I have a walking boot but it comes off on the 23rd. Then a month of rehab is all I need. It wasn't really bad."
