On Wednesday 2014 Byrnes wide receiver Shaedon Meadors received the good news every recruit yearns for...that first scholarship offer. The 6'2 180 pound prospect was one of the team's big play makers as a junior and expect his numbers to grow next season not only in terms of statistics but offers as well.
"Marshall offered Shaedon yesterday," his father informed SCPrepNation.com.
"We went to Louisville last week. We had a really good visit and watched their Spring Game. We are going to Marshall next week for a visit. Charlotte and Georgia Tech are still in contact regularly too."
Meadors along with All-State wide receiver Akia Booker, super sophomore Tavin Richardson, and others to form one of the state's most dangerous receiving corps this past season. Expectations are for Meadors to ascend to the top as the Rebels big play threat with Booker graduating. He had a great deal of success with big yardage plays as a junior and has a good blend of size and speed (4.5 second 40).
Meadors is also a strong performer in the classroom reporting a 4.43 GPA during our last interview with him. We'll have a full update with Meadors to talk about his offer from Marshall and more of the very latest this weekend so stay tuned to SCPrepNation.com!
