Ryan Moore Profile

Having followed 2014 York running back Ryan Moore for more than a year now we've seen the young prospect progress immensely during that time. We knew his background and knew his older brother Ricky Moore who was an equally impressive young man. The drive and motivation to become the very best he possibly could be was evident early on and now he's seeing some of the fruits of his labor in the form of scholarship offers. The 2014 prospect has seen his stock take off in a hurry as FBS and FCS schools have started to appreciate his talents and stepped up with those offers.

Almost 2 weeks ago Ryan Moore had zero offers. Then came his first offer from Bucknell. Then came an offer from Air Force.

Since then things have picked up rather quickly and Moore is hoping that momentum will continue as he's an early graduate candidate and plans on enrolling somewhere after graduating in December so he can participate in spring practice at whatever school he decides to attend.

"Offer number three just came in from Gardner-Webb," Moore told us a few days ago.

Then came another one.

"Youngstown State just offered me, that's offer number four!"

Twenty minutes later Moore was contacting us again.

"Limestone just called right after Youngstown State and offered so that's number five."

On Friday Moore was contacting us yet again.

Presbyterian College just offered me."

So in less than a week and half Ryan Moore went from zero offers to six offers.

A lot of other schools remain involved including the likes of Appalachian State, Florida International, Furman, Marshall, Oregon State, Texas Tech, UNC Charlotte, and Wake Forest.

Moore says he remains wide open at this point and is more than willing to hear what every school has to say and offer. As mentioned before he will graduate in December and his hope is to make a decision somewhere in the middle of the season barring a "dream type offer" which would probably result in a early commitment.

He plans on visiting Marshall on June 8th and will check out North Dakota State on June 22nd.

Moore has been a man on a mission and the 5'10 200 pound prospect's efforts on the field and in the weight room are pretty undeniable. Maxing out this past week Moore raised his bench press to 355 pounds. On the squat Moore maxed out at 560 pounds. He also power cleaned 305 pounds.

Check out his junior season highlights below and see why so many regional schools are loving what they see in the highly underrated prospect from York High. Moore has the size, power, moves, and speed to be an every down back in our opinion and apparently so do the six schools who have already offered him a scholarship.
