2014 quarterback Mason Rudolph of Northwestern High School guided his team to another impressive victory in consecutive weeks. Friday's 38-17 win came over Charlotte Catholic which features 4-star running back Elijah Hood who recently committed to North Carolina after initially committing to Notre Dame.
Rudolph had a solid outing again and was 25-34 for 267 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also added three touchdowns rushing with 10 carries for 39 yards.
The Trojans' receiving corps was lead by Quadarius Fair who had 10 catches for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns.
In the victory Trojans win their defense keyed heavily on Hood and stacked the box much of the night trying to keep him from making game breaking plays.
Hood finished the night with 36 carries for 190 yards and a touchdown. The recent North Carolina commit did break the Mecklenburg County all-time rushing record during the game.
