Come inside to see just how good he did and what he thought about his trip to Chapel Hill last weekend.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside Profile

Last week he was amongst the area leaders in receiving and 2015 wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside will remain near the very top of that list again after what may have been his best performance to date on Friday against Hillcrest.

The 6'3 180 pound prospect had 9 catches for 224 yards and 3 touchdowns in helping the Cavaliers come back and defeat Hillcrest 22-19 on Friday.

The junior also traveled to North Carolina last Saturday to see the Tar Heels take on Middle Tennessee. We caught up with him earlier this week and he talked about his trip to Chapel Hill.

"My favorite part of the visit was going down on the field and watching the team come out onto the field."

The coaches took some time to interact with Arcega-Whiteside too he says.

"I got to talk to the running back coach and I was on the phone with the wide receivers coach throughout the day. They were all telling me that they were glad to have me there and they look forward to following me during the season and wishing me luck."

As of right now Arcega-Whiteside says he has no other visits lined up but that should change soon after Friday night's performance so stay tuned here on SCPrepNation.com!
