The Byrnes Rebels suffered a rare loss a couple of weeks ago against Northwestern but in the loss 2015 Byrnes wide receiver Tavin Richardson had what many thought was his best game thus far. We caught up with Richardson to talk about it and a new offer from the SEC that came in shortly after his big game performance.
While we and others thought it was a signature performance for Richardson what did the 6'5 210 pound prospect think about it.
"It was probably my best game so far. I had 13 catches for 156 yards and 1 touchdown."
On Tuesday Richardson picked up yet another offer pushing his number of offers to eleven.
"Mississippi State just offered me," Richardson told us.
And which coach from Mississippi State offered him?
"Coach Sallach offered me."
Other schools remain active in their pursuit of Richardson like Georgia and Tennessee. Should he continue to have strong performances like he did against Northwestern don't be surprised to see his offer total push towards 20 before season's end.
