Tavin Richardson Profile

Offer number thirteen came for Byrnes wide receiver Tavin Richardson recently. The big physical wide receiver gave SCPrepNation.com word of the news and talked about the offer and informed us of what his next planned visit is for this weekend.

"Coach Morehead from Virginia Tech offered me," Richardson said.

The 2015 prospect has visited Blacksburg before and he told us that he really likes what he saw while there.

"I really like their overall football program."

This Friday Richardson and his Byrnes team will host Dutch Fork in the AAAA Division 1 playoffs. The winner will advance to the state championship game in Columbia next week. So what area of the Dutch Fork defense has Richardson's attention at this point heading into the game on Friday night?

"We have to come ready to play, play more physical, and keep the tempo on our side. They have some really good linebackers so we've got to be mindful of them."

As far as recruiting goes Richardson has 13 offers currently and he says he hears a good deal from all of those programs. As for schools that haven't offered Richardson shared some of the ones that have been pursuing him pretty hard.

"I'd say North Carolina State, Michigan State, Florida State, and Oklahoma State have been coming after me pretty hard."

Asked if he felt like one school in particular may be the next to offer and he told us, "Michigan State I think."

This weekend Richardson says he plans on attending the Georgia-Georgia Tech game. He already holds an offer from Georgia Tech and says things have quieted down with the Georgia Bulldogs as of late.

We'll have more updates with Tavin Richardson as he continues to see his stock rise down the playoff stretch. Keep it right here on SCPrepNation.com for more of the very latest!
