McCray says he was able to speak to the offensive line coach Shawn Elliot and coach Spurrier Jr.. The pair spoke with McCray for a while too.
"They told me that they saw my film and that they want to see me up there at their camps this off season."
While in Columbia McCray says he was able to see a few things the Gamecocks had to offer.
"Their stadium was really nice and the players too. I was also able to see their weight room, it was so awesome!"
Other schools who have remained in the mix as of late are Clemson and Coastal Carolina. He said that Clemson also informed him that they would like to see him at camp this off season.
As for this off season McCray says he plans on attending as many camps as possible to get better and garner more exposure. He says he'll focus on two areas this off season to improve heading into his junior season next year.
"Strength and speed training."
To help with that he plans on participating with the track and field team as well as wrestling too.
