Kevin McCray Profile

With the bowl season nearing its end we caught up with 2016 Timberland High offensive tackle Kevin McCray to talk about his recruitment and thoughts on some of the latest bowl games as well. The 6'8 320 pound prospect continues to hear from new schools and will undoubtedly see his recruitment continue to rise given his size and tremendous upside.

"I've been hearing a lot from Coastal Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia lately."

Last night's Sugar Bowl was somewhat of a surprise to many including the massive offensive lineman from Timberland.

"Yeah the Alabama-Oklahoma game was surprising to me. Just how Alabama played. They seemed to put their heads down when they got down. But Oklahoma played a really good game."

Tonight Clemson will take on Ohio State in the Orange Bowl and the Tigers have already had McCray on campus for a visit and are active in their recruitment of the Timberland standout. So what does McCray see for the matchup tonight?

"I'll pull for Clemson. I think they will pull out a victory."

Looking ahead to Monday's national championship game McCray gave us his thoughts on that matchup as well.

"Florida State and Auburn I honestly don't know. It could go either way."
