"North Carolina State, South Carolina, and Louisville have been by the last few weeks to see me. I also met coach Holiday from Marshall last week too. He told me that they will be on me this upcoming year and would love to get me up there."
Haney has some visits that he's trying to hammer out the dates but he's still in the midst of doing that.
"I plan on going to some Junior Days soon too. I will definitely be at Vanderbilt's Junior Day on February 22nd. I'm also going to North Carolina State's Junior Day on March 29th."
"I may also go to Duke and South Carolina but I'm not sure yet."
"South Carolina came by. Coach Elliott wants me at camp this Summer he said. I think it was last week that he came by."
So does Haney feel like his first offer could be on the way from any particular schools he said, "I feel Vanderbilt is. I have a strong relationship with some of the coaches there and they really like me. Hopefully I'll have the offer by this Summer."
"Vanderbilt and Marshall are both recruiting me hard. Marshall comes by the school often and I have a really strong relationship with coach Furrey. I'd say Vanderbilt is coming a little harder though."
Haney talked about how he felt his junior season went for the Indians on a personal level.
"Yes sir I was satisfied with how I played but I know I can always get better and stronger."
The Indians will max out in the weight room February 22nd and Haney is confident that he's made gains in the strength department while maintaining 315-320 pounds on his 6'6 frame.
