Rapidly moving up the rankings is 2015 Byrnes cornerback/athlete Lyrics Klugh. The electric play maker for the Rebels picked up his first couple of offers a few weeks ago and he took an ACC visit over the weekend. Klugh gave us the breakdown on it all.
"I went on a visit to Georgia Tech today," Klugh told us on Saturday.
So how was Klugh's time in Atlanta with the Yellow Jackets?
"It was good. I like what I saw so far and I'm planning on going back soon. I got a chance to talk with the coaches while I was there too. Coach Cook the quarterbacks coach is my primary recruiter for Georgia Tech."
So what did the Yellow Jackets have to say to the Byrnes junior while he was on campus?
They said they liked how I played and how good I am with the ball in my hands. They said if I came down there I would play both ways. They told me that they are very interested in me."
Klugh talked about what he liked most about his trip to see Georgia Tech.
"I really like the coaches and the weight room facility."
The 2015 prospect picked up offers from Charleston Southern and Elon and he's hearing from a number of schools throughout the southeast region currently. In fact, Klugh says he has some other visits lined up for the near future already.
We'll have more updates with Klugh as he continues to trend upwards as a playmaker who excels whether at cornerback or as a return specialist.
