Jaylan Foster Profile

With the departure of 2014 wide receiver Shaedon Meadors (Appalachian State) the Byrnes Rebels will look to reload and one prospect who very well could grab a larger role in the Rebels' offense this year is 2016 wide receiver Jaylan Foster. With a number of schools already recruiting him Foster took a ride up I-85 to check out Charlotte this past weekend and he talked with us about his trip in this quick hitter.

"It was great! They said that they love my highlight tape and were coming back to watch me in the Spring," Foster said.

So what was the highlight of Foster's trip to Charlotte?

"Getting to sit and talk with the players in the locker room before the game."

We asked Foster what his thoughts were of Charlotte's Spring Game and if he could see himself playing for them one day?

"It was good. Yes I can. They kinda run the same offense as we do at Byrnes."

The 6'0 170 pound 2016 prospect says he wants to try and make a visit to Raleigh to visit NC State for their Spring Game next.

With a new head coach at Byrnes in Brian Lane Foster says that things are going great under the former Rebels assistant currently and that they are looking forward to a productive Spring and off season.
