The saying is "better late than never" and it applies to 2015 4-star SG Tevin Mack of Dreher High School. While many of the folks in South Carolina know Mack is the real deal it seems a lot of college coaches and recruiting analysts were sort of late to the party in recognizing it.
After coming out with a pretty big chip on his shoulder heading into his first AAU tourney of the season at the Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest Mack emerged as the talk of the tourney pouring in 30 plus points multiple games. Enter schools like Wake Forest and Mississippi State who have offered in the past few weeks.
On Tuesday evening Mack landed another offer from an SEC school.
"Auburn just offered. Coach Adler offered me," Mack told us.
Other schools like Georgetown, Kansas, and Tennessee are taking a look and others are entering the picture as well. Should Mack continue to punish opponents during the AAU circuit the next few months we anticipate more schools stepping up with offers for the 6'6 scorer who has shown an improved shooting stroke from deep as well.
SCPrepNation.com will have more updates with Tevin Mack as he is one of the hottest basketball prospects in the country right now and in high demand...
