The news came around 9pm earlier tonight.
"I've just been offered by the Florida Gators," Richardson messaged us.
The offer from the Gators joins 20 other offers on the table already for the 6'4 wide receiver from James F. Byrnes High School in Duncan South Carolina.
So how does Richardson feel about having a Florida offer?
"It feels really great because they are a top notch program who plays in the SEC and they are a winning team."
The timetable for Richardson was to narrow things down to a Top 10 by the end of the summer. We asked him if he already had some schools already in place within that list.
The 2015 prospect played it close to the chest as any good poker player would though.
"I'm still thinking about them all so I can cut it down by summer."
For now Richardson continues to work hard with his Byrnes teammates in order to prepare for next season. The talented junior has taken all of the offers in stride and remains humble despite the notoriety and buzz that social media and the recruiting world can bring.
