A week after landing an offer from Notre Dame another BCS program has entered the mix for 2015 A.C. Flora safety Denzel Johnson. Actually the latest offer came almost a month ago but Johnson didn't get wind of it until today.
"I just got an offer from Louisville. Coach Todd Grantham offered me. He hit me up on Twitter and told me to call him and said that they offered me a month ago. I had no idea they offered me. He was saying how if I wanted to play wide receiver there I can or as a defensive back there I can. He said they want me more at DB though."
Johnson says that when Louisville stopped by a month ago he wasn't at school that day and that's where the mixup likely occurred. Either way he's glad to have an offer from the Cardinals.
"I like a lot about them already. My uncle stays down there and he said I can live with him if I decide to go there."
As of late Notre Dame and Louisville are the two largest schools in the mix for Johnson. He also picked up an offer from South Carolina State last week as well joining earlier offers from Clemson and Liberty.
