2015 Berea defensive end Destin Guillen picked up another in-state offer on Thursday morning. He gave SCPrepNation.com the news first and what his plans are this weekend which includes a visit and camping with a Big Ten school.
"I just got offered by Limestone," Guillen said Thursday morning.
The Saints will start their first season next year and have been aggressively recruiting in-state prospects that others may have overlooked. The future looks promising for the program in Gaffney.
Guillen has three offers now with Limestone joining Campbell and Newberry so far. The talented defensive end will also be hitting the road this weekend to try and earn another offer.
"I'm going up to Maryland tomorrow (Friday) for a visit and then camp is Saturday."
Guillen has been in contact with the Terrapins for quite some time building a solid relationship is hoping that a strong showing at camp will result in a Maryland offer.
The size and athleticism stand out when you watch Guillen on film, a strong basketball prospect Guillen uses that athleticism to his advantage on the football field and he's hoping a Big Ten or BCS offer will result in a parade of more schools coming in with additional offers.
We'll keep you up to date with Guillen as he sounds like a man on a mission to try and land more offers moving forward.
