Long considered by SCPrepNation.com as one of the hidden gems of the 2015 class, Bishop England's Hudson Little, remains under the radar. A versatile prospect at 6'4 275 pounds Little has been a force for his team the past two seasons. He holds a pair of in-state offers currently and he went on a visit to another in-state school. He sat down and talked with us about the very latest.
"I went to Coastal Carolina and got a chance to meet the coaches last week. I also got to tour the facilities too."
So what did the 2-time All-State selection think about Coastal Carolina overall?
"It was great, I liked most was the way they run things, I know other schools might do something similar if not the same, but I liked how they make sure all their players are on track at all times they when it comes to practicing lifting and school work. They just had a very organized system."
Little holds offers from Charleston Southern and Newberry and he says both of those schools have remained in close contact along with Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, and South Carolina. He shed some light about what the in-state Gamecocks have said to him.
"I haven't talked one on one with USC but my coach did and what the offensive line coach said was that he likes me and since they don't have anymore scholarship money that I could be a preferred walk on. He said that there's a possibility that later a scholarship or some scholarship money might become available."
The 6'4 275 pound prospect says most schools are liking him on the offensive line. Outstanding on both sides of the line Little has a great approach to it all.
"Yes but Coastal Carolina loves me on both sides. They said they want me where I can make more of a difference at a faster time period which is at offensive line."
"Yes sir I like defensive line too but then again whichever school I go to I want to make an impact so if it's on offensive line then there won't be any hard feelings on my part cause I'll at least have the chance to make a difference."
The first few games are going to be critical to Little's recruitment moving forward and the 2015 prospect says a lot of the schools that are in the mix currently want to see his first few game highlights along with a couple of full games. Given what's at stake, Hudson Little will mean business and is looking to add more offers to his resume this year. That's good news for Bishop England and bad news for whoever lines up across from him...
