Blessed with a scorer's mentality White Knoll guard Emarius Logan already held 6 offers prior to the start of the AAU season and his growth during the AAU circuit has seen him add two more to his haul. The 6'2 180 pound prospect sat down with us to talk about the very latest and more.
"I picked up offers from Appalachian State and Maryland-Eastern Shore."
The 2015 White Knoll prospect says he camped at Appalachian State's Elite Camp on Friday and earned his latest offer there.
"It feels good, I've been working hard all summer and it's paying off."
There is another school that has shown strong interest in Logan this summer and has extended him a verbal offer from an assistant but Logan likes to hear the news from the head coach.
"Old Dominion's assistant offered but it hasn't come from the head coach yet."
So what has improved the most about Logan's game since the end of the high school season and helped draw more offers to his resume?
"I think being able to actually run my team and get everybody involved. I can do more than score the basketball. My ballhandling and athleticism has improved as well."
The 2015 standout talked about his run on the AAU circuit this offseason.
"AAU was up and down, we were very inconsistent as a team. We played down to our competition."
Other schools who've been in consistent contact this off season are Old Dominion, Miami (Ohio), NC Central, and USC Upstate.
Besides the Appalachian State Elite camp Logan says he attended one at USC Upstate and that he played well there too.
"USC Upstate is recruiting me pretty hard, NC Central too."
