16' Greer WR Dorian Lindsey Rolling Early

We told you he'd be one to watch this year and Dorian Lindsey wasted no time in making us look good. The 2016 Greer wide receiver helped spark his team to an impressive come from behind win over Clinton last week and showed his immense talent in doing so. Come inside to see why we're so high on the 2016 standout.

Dorian Lindsey Profile

One player we've been raring to see is 2016 Greer wide receiver Dorian Lindsey. We saw him in 7on7 play this off season and he made good on our early projections with him as he piled up 200+ yards and 3 touchdowns in an impressive 21-10 come from behind win last Friday over an always tough Clinton team.

"I had 7 catches for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. I also had 15 carries for 117 yards and another touchdown. I had 223 total yards and 3 touchdowns on the night."

We also heard that he had a couple scores called back as well.

"I had two touchdowns called back. One was a 95 yard punt return and the other one was a 14 yard catch."

Heading into the season Lindsey was a known commodity at wide receiver but a slow start saw him make a position change to help spur his team to a comeback victory over Clinton.

Greer trailed Clinton 10-0 at the half and the Yellow Jackets decided to give Clinton a different look in the second half with Lindsey lining up at quarterback in a wildcat set.

"Yes sir, we switched things up at halftime. I was able to march down the field and score our first touchdown. That started the momentum for the team. After the first touchdown the defense came alive for us."

Lindsey talked about what it felt like to play a pivotal role for his team in the win.

"It made me feel good that I could give my team the edge that we needed to spark the momentum."

This week Greer will face in-town rivals Riverside for bragging rights to the town of Greer. The 2016 prospect talked about his mindset heading into the matchup.

"I just want to stay humble and keep grinding."

Schools haven't started to show Lindsey the love he deserves yet but as his numbers continue to pile up expect that to change soon as he's projecting to be one of the better wide receivers in the state for 2016 with tremendous upside. College coaches should also like the fact that he's a strong performer in the classroom as well with a 3.5 GPA currently.

We'll have more updates with Lindsey moving forward as we anticipate his recruitment to take off in a big way in the very near future!
