Landon Holden Profile

2016 Chapman linebacker Landon Holden has played well despite a tough start to his junior season. Last night the Panthers got their first victory over the season in their region opener after a tough non-conference slate in their first couple of games. The 6'1 195 pound linebacker has been hearing quite a bit from some ACC schools early on in the process and he actually went on a visit to one last weekend. He filled us in on all the particulars regarding that visit and more in this update courtesy of SCPrepNation.com.

"I went on an unofficial visit to Duke last Saturday and it went great!"

We asked Holden what all he was able to see and do while in Durham and he broke things down for us.

"I was very impressed with the coaching staff, and also how disciplined the team played. I got to talk with coach Collins, the linebackers coach. There wasn't a lot of interaction with the players though."

So what else did Holden get to see while on campus?

"We got to tour the campus and see the athletic facilities. I actually liked it a lot, I plan on going to another game later in the season."

Through the first 3 games Holden has 40 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble. Chapman's record now stands at 1-3 after winning their first game in region play last night.

We'll have more updates with Landon Holden as the season progresses and as he keeps piling up numbers for the Panthers.
