Dorien Dickey Profile

Although he's not the biggest prospect out there at 5'9 165 pounds 2015 Christ Church CB/ATH Dorien Dickey is one of the state's most electric and well rounded ones. The 2015 standout gave us a ring on Monday to talk about the very latest when it comes to his recruitment.

"Jacksonville State offered me back in September and I also went for an official visit to Youngstown State in September as well."

"Old Dominion came by today (Monday) and Mercer offered me a couple of weeks ago."

Dickey shared with us what the ODU coaches had to say during their stop at Christ Church.

"He said he liked me a lot in the return game and at corner or wide receiver. They are recruiting me at receiver and that I'm one of their top remaining 2015 prospects."

The 2015 prospect says he'll likely visit Old Dominion soon to get a look at the school, the program, and feel for the Monarchs as a whole. He's hoping they'll add to his already impressive list of offers.

Dickey's offers include ones from Citadel, Holy Cross, Jacksonville State, Mercer, Presbyterian, and Youngstown State.

He talked about which ones are recruiting him the hardest as of late.

"Youngstown State has kept in contact a lot since the visit. I hear the most from Jacksonville State and Presbyterian. I hear from their coaches a lot and I'd also have to say that The Citadel has been very consistent as well."

So far this season he says he's got 4 interceptions, 1 kickoff return for a touchdown, 1 receiving touchdown, 1 rushing touchdown, 1 interception return for a touchdown, and 8 pass break ups.

The Christ Church standout says he'll take a visit to Jacksonville State on November 1st.

We'll touch basis with Dorien Dickey as he continues to help Christ Church extend their state record winning streak of 47 games in a row and try to win their 4th state championship in a row this season.
