Drayton Arnold Profile

After leading Myrtle Beach to a AAA state championship last season junior quarterback is back at it again for the Seahawks as they are undefeated right now. The savvy prospect made a visit to a school that has offered him early on in the process and he talked with SCPrepNation.com about that visit at length.

"I took a visit to Ohio and I loved it! The coaching staff was great and Ohio has a really nice campus!"

The 2016 prospect talked about what all he was able to see and do while there on campus this weekend as Ohio defeated Akron 23-20.

"We toured around the campus. I saw the new indoor facility and student center. I had a great conversation with coach Solich. We talked about the game. How I was doing, and he told me that he wants to see me up there again soon."

So what was the best part of the trip to Ohio in Arnold's mind?

"The atmosphere. Everyone is very nice and excited to be there!"

Arnold told us that other schools such as East Carolina and Charlotte remain heavily involved and he briefed us quickly about his thoughts on ECU.

"Seeing the success that ECU has had is pretty exciting. I really like their coaching staff and what they are doing with the program."

Both Charlotte and ECU are on the itinerary for Arnold to visit before season's end. We'll have more recruiting info regarding Arnold here on SCPrepNation.com so stay tuned...
