B.J. Stewart Profile

With one offer already in hand 2015 Boiling Springs safety prospect B.J. Stewart remains on the radar for quite a few schools. Over the weekend he took his biggest visit to date with an SEC school. He talked about it and some of the other schools he's visited recently.

"My visit to Auburn was great! I saw the coaches and I got to participate in the Tiger Walk with the other recruits which was an amazing experience. I also got to walk on the field and see all the players warm up, just the usual. They were very busy it's a lot different from the mid-major level schools who are more one on one."

We asked Stewart was his favorite part of the visit to Auburn and he said, "the Tiger Walk definitely!"

Auburn isn't the only school to receive a visit from Stewart lately though. He informed us of some of the other visits he's made since our last update with him.

"I've been to Charleston Southern, The Citadel, and Presbyterian too."

He briefly recapped his thoughts about each school and what he liked best about each visit.

"Charleston Southern was good, they treated you really well."

"The Citadel was good, I liked it. The best part of the visit was good getting to touch basis with my safety coach down there again."

"With Presbyterian I liked it down there. The coaches and players seem to have bought into that program!"

Still Stewart's lone offer is from Wofford and he says, "I"ve been in close contact with Wofford pretty regularly."

Next up for Stewart is a visit to Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday. He's hoping to get some good news from them and some others soon possibly.

"I think Lenoir-Rhyne, Presbyterian, and Tusculum could be close to offering me soon possibly."

So far during his senior season Stewart has 76 tackles and 5 pass break ups. On Friday they'll visit Byrnes in the 1st round of the AAAA Division 1 playoffs.

"I am hyped indeed. I feel like we have a chance to shock the whole state! We have to come out letting them know that we are here to play from the start. We break it down in practice everyday on the work hard...win state! That motto still remains the same going in to Friday. With the whole team finally healthy I feel like we can do it. Giving God the glory at all times! It'll be cold this Friday but you should make the trip."

We'll have more with B.J. Stewart as his recruitment rolls on and they take on Byrnes this Friday night. Stay tuned!
