Rarely would we say a prospect with double digit offers is a "sleeper" but that is the case in our opinion with 2015 Fairfield Central running back Joseph Young. Having displayed the ability to produce big plays coming out of the backfield Young is still flying under the radar with a lot of schools we feel.
Thus far during his senior season for Fairfield Central Young has rushed 186 times for 1,266 yards and 17 touchdowns. Young is averaging 6.8 yards per carry currently.
His largest offer to date comes from Virginia but Young also holds offers from the likes of Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, Citadel, Furman, North Carolina A&T, Ohio, Old Dominion, South Alabama, and Western Carolina.
As of late the 2015 prospect tells us things have been slow on the recruiting front for him. He's hoping a solid performance in the playoffs will help draw more interest from schools down the stretch leading towards National Signing Day.
We'll have more updates with Young as more schools start to analyze his film so stay tuned...
