We started featuring defensive tackle D.J. Jones when he started at Carolina High School and subsequently transferred to Wren High School to take on AAAA competition. After a senior season that saw him land some nice offers and also play in the prestigious Shrine Bowl Jones went the JUCO route and ended up at East Mississippi Community College. From there the rest is history as he displayed the dominance we saw in him during his high school days and he ended up with offers from nearly every major college football program in the nation by the time he was done at East Mississippi.
On Wednesday afternoon in front of family and friends he announced that he'd be attending Ole Miss. Check out the video below.
