Quickly emerging on the radar with an ACC offer was 2016 Greer High cornerback Troy Pride Jr. A few weeks have gone by since that first offer came in and apparently other schools from the ACC are starting to step up and make their interest known in the 6' 165 pound speedster. We've got a quick update with Pride Jr. here on SCPrepNation.com!

Troy Pride Jr. Profile

The recruitment of 2016 Greer High School cornerback Troy Pride Jr. is starting to take flight after landing an early offer from one of the two ACC schools in the state of Virginia. We spoke to Pride Jr. over the weekend and we've got the very latest regarding the talented 2016 prospect from Greer High here.

"Well Wake Forest has reach out to me and we have scheduled a visit for their Junior Day. I have also spoken to Boston College and NC State. Those two schools have also talked to me recently."

"I'll be going to Wake Forest on February 15th and I believe Virginia Tech wants me up there on the 7th of February."

Outside of the Hokies who were the first school to offer Pride Jr., he says "Boston College has shown a bunch of interest along with Wake Forest."

So what have those coaches said to the Greer prospect?

"They have said what the Virginia Tech coaches said, that they love my speed and length at cornerback."

Although he's picked up some new interest from more ACC schools the in-state schools, Clemson and South Carolina, haven't stepped forth showing any interest yet. Pride Jr. is hoping to make a big splash on the camp and combine circuit this off season to try and secure more offers and draw more interest from plenty of other schools.

We'll have more updates with the cornerback prospect from Greer here on SCPrepNation.com so keep it right here for more of the very latest.
