K.J. Chamberlain Profile

Monday morning Chamberlain gave us a quick text message with the good news he's been waiting on.

"I've just received my first offer from Miami (OH)."

So what ran through his mind when he got wind of the scholarship?

"It feels great knowing I finally got my first offer!"

We asked Chamberlain on Monday who he felt might be one of the next schools to offer him and he was spot on.

"Hopefully South Carolina or Charlotte."

And just as he predicted on Tuesday he landed that second offer when he text us, "I received a second offer from Charlotte!"

The 2016 prospect who was the state leader in interceptions this past season with 16 picks has not been sitting around waiting to see what happens. He's planned an active off season trying to hit the best camps and combines to help showcase his talents to college coaches and recruiting analysts alike.

"I won defensive back MVP at the VTO Elite 100 camp. I also earned 3 stars with another recruiting service. I've got a camp lined up with South Carolina and I'm going to an Adidas camp in April."

We'll continue to track Chamberlain's recruitment as we expect more schools to start swarming in for the 6'2 194 pound defender. For now check out his junior season highlights below and find out how to follow us on Twitter.
