We've been talking about 2016 South Pointe CB/WR Nick McCloud for quite some time and the tall cornerback saw a few offers come in a while back. The 6'3 prospect has been hard at work trying to add more to his resume and he did just that today.
McCloud hit us on Monday afternoon with some good news.
"I just got offered by Kansas State. He said they just liked the way I played football. They offered me as a safety and he said I need to get out there in June or sometime this summer."
The offer from Kansas State joined previous offers by Appalachian State and James Madison. It wouldn't be too much longer that McCloud was messaging us again with more good news.
"I just got another offer from Miami (OH). Two offers in one day, it's crazy!"
"I've been hearing from Northwestern and a lot of Big Ten schools. I'm going back to Chicago this week. The Wildcats have been recruiting me for a while. We are visiting Michigan, Michigan State, and Miami (OH) also. I'm working on trying to hit Tennessee, Louisville, and Kentucky on the way back down from Chicago also."
"I'm flying up and meeting some of my teammates and the people that's going to take us around on Thursday night and then driving back with my family on Tuesday I think."
So who else would McCloud like to hear from soon? He shared that intel with us.
We'll have more updates with McCloud as he hits the road starting this weekend. Could he pick up some more offers during his travels or in the coming weeks? We'll let you know here first on SCPrepNation.com!
