2016 Greer wide receiver Dorian Lindsey helped power Greer to an undefeated regular season before losing in the AAA playoffs. After a strong junior season the 6'2 180 pound prospect has been hearing from schools and on Wednesday he got some more good news from a nearby school.
"I got offered by Gardner-Webb," Lindsey texted us.
The offer from the Bulldogs joins a previous offer from in-state Presbyterian giving him a pair of offers now.
Other schools have been involved as late too Lindsey told us.
"Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina have been talking to me. I'm supposed to visit Appalachian State on May 2nd."
This past weekend Lindsey participated in the EPT Football Skills Showcase at Spartanburg High School. It was there he competed with other top flight prospects from around the state of South Carolina. He talked about his experience at the event with us.
"It was fun, I liked it but I didn't do that good at the beginning but I started doing better towards the end."
He faced a number of the state's top defensive backs in one on ones and seven on seven action. He told us which ones he felt presented the toughest challenge to him throughout the day's action.
We'll talk more with Dorian Lindsey as he plans on taking visits to schools and camps this off season so stay tuned.
