As one of the top prospects in the state of South Carolina for the 2017 recruiting class Lake Marion safety Davondre Robinson has seen things take off in a hurry during the past year. His recruitment has heated up and he had an excellent showing recently where he was named one of the top underclassmen by Scout.com in Charlotte at Nike's Opening Regionals. We talked with Robinson about his time in Charlotte and the latest regarding his recruitment.
So how was the experience for Robinson in Charlotte at Nike's Opening Regionals?
"It was a great experience competing with some of the top players in the area. Being named one of the top underclassmen there was great. I learned a lot and still can improve on some things."
"I haven't really been on any visits lately."
The 2017 prospect talked about where things stand regarding visits.
"No sir I don't have any visits lined up right at this moment. I'm focused on finishing these last couple of weeks of school strong and then I'll starting planning on taking some visits."
The list of offers for the sophomore sensation has grown since our last conversation with him and he told us about his latest offer and some other schools he's wanting to hear more from moving forward.
Tennessee was my most recent offer," Robinson informed us.
This off season Robinson has been working out with former Clemson wide receiver Mal Lawyer and his trainees in the Lowcountry. He talked about some of the key aspects he's been focusing on with his off season regimen so far.
"I've been working on everything, my technique, and more importantly my footwork."
