Jaylan Foster Profile

We saw plenty of top teams and prospects at the Palmetto State Showdown 7on7 event a few weekends ago and one of the most impressive was 2016 Byrnes CB/WR Jaylan Foster. A two-way standout for the Rebels Foster didn't disappoint earning MVP honors for his team as they came in second place to eventual champions Westside. Foster caught us up to speed with the latest regarding his recruitment in this quick hitter with SCPrepNation.com.

Foster was supposed to attend Dawg Night in Georgia this past weekend but instead participated in the Hoover 7on7 event.

"We finished in the top 8," Foster said.

Schools are still evaluating the dynamic playmaker and he says one of his next visits could lead to his next offer total which already is in double digits.

"Kennesaw State said they want me to come see the campus first. They should be my next offer."

Foster says his next visit will be to in-state Coastal Carolina this week sometime.

"I'm looking forward to visiting Coastal Carolina. I'm ready to see what they have to offer."

Seeing him a few weeks ago we noticed a change physically in Foster and he shared it with us.

"I'm 185 pounds now. It was one of my goals to put on some good weight in my upper body."

The 2016 Byrnes prospect has hit the double digit mark in offers and the 5'11 prospect says there are still schools he's wanting to hear more from soon with his senior season set to start here within the next month or so.

"I'd like to hear more from East Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Wake Forest, South Carolina, Florida, and Marshall."

For now check out Foster's junior season highlights below and stay tuned as we'll have highlights of him in action at this year's Palmetto State Showdown 7on7 later this week.
